PT Intanwijaya Internasional Tbk ( before was PT INTAN WIJAYA CHEMICAL INDUSTRY) was established in 1982 as producer  of  formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin products. The company (INCI) was listed the Jakarta Stock Exchange on July 24, 1990.

Currently, the monthly production capacity are:

11.000 tons of formaldehyde 37 %
14.000 tons of formaldehyde-based resin (urea, melamine, phenol &low emission types)
900 tons of urea formaldehyde glue powder
500 tons of hexamine

We are serving domestic as well as export market.

The chemical complex was constructed in 1986 with world-renowned Oxide process formaldehyde technology from M/S PERSTOP AB of Sweden and Thermo-setting Adhesive Resin technology from FORESA of Spain.

In 1992 PT Intan established the first independent powder adhesive plant in Indonesia.  Installed the first Hexamine plant in Indonesia in 1995, with the technology from west Germany, complete with an Off-Gas Treatment Unit (OGTU), which recycles waste gas into use-able energy to promote cleaner environment.

Specialty Chemicals and Biodiesel Manufacturer in Southeast Asia

PT Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk was incorporated in 1992 as the holding company of the group. Eterindo group’s activities started in 1965 with its trading of chemical products. Today Eterindo has diverted the group business into a resources based by producing Biodiesel and specialty Plasticizers.

Besides domestic market, Eterindo has exported its products worldwide such as Southeast Asia, China, India, Bangladesh, Middle East, Japan, Korea, Australia and United States.

In line with the global issue of increasing fuel demand and also reducing fossil energy resources, including petro diesel, we are looking into the need of creating alternative fuel which is not only serve as a diversification or alternative to the conventional fuel oil but also as an environment friendly source of energy.

Having gone through an extensive study, we have succesfully completed in modifying our existing production facilites in Gresik to enable the plant to produce both specialty plasticizer and Biodiesel/Palm-Methyl-Esther. Currently in the commercial production with capacity of 70,000 MT per annum.

In 2010, Eterindo has acquired 2 palm oil plantation companies in West Kalimantan to strengthen its biodiesel business by having a secure supply of raw material as well as the vertical integration. Each company consists of 20,000 Ha of land, totaling around 40,000 Ha. The plantation is targeted to be completed in 2014 with the production of CPO around 130,000 – 160,000 MTPA.

In 1966, Eka Sentosa (+) and Darmawan Putra Totong opened a small paint shop sized 40 sqm at Jalan Gajah Mada 56, Jakarta. This paint shop called “Toko Tjat Sentosa” which sold paint products. Not only selling paints, business kept developing with selling also other building materials with more variety products.

In line with the growth of the shop in 1970, Budyanto Totong and Totong Kurniawan joined the business with their brothers and launched offensive plans. They saw an opportunity from merely selling into marketing and distributing. This is the beginning of the business as a distribution of building materials.

With the Company’s distribution business rapidly grew, the need for a modern management approach became inevitable and led to the establishment of PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana in December 1983.

In 1997, Budyanto Totong saw an opportunity in modern retail business by introducing “One Stop Shopping” concept of building materials in Indonesia with brand Mitra10. This business is developed with aim to catch the opportunity of the changing shopping trend from traditional to modern way, strengthen synergy with Principals, cash transaction base, gain a higher profit margin.

With continuing to grow and develop its businesses, the Company is strengthening the equity structure through Initial Public Offering. The Company has become a member of Indonesia Stock Exchange and listed on December 12, 2007.

Dreams as a leading distributor with best management in distribution paint and building materials became reality. In present, the Company is also a public company which currently has 39 distribution branches, 5 chemicals distribution branches, 7 distribution areas consumer goods, 18 modern retail outlets, and 5 showrooms SB Furniture, spread throughout Indonesia.
